Biographical information of Sean Burke, the Journal's eighteenth Editor in Chief.
Sean P. Burke served as Editor in Chief for 2014-2017 (Vols. 96-99). He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Physics and Chemistry (Dual Major) at the State University of New York Geneseo, a Master of Science in Nuclear Engineering and Engineering Physics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a Juris Doctor degree from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University. He was a Patent Examiner examining patent applications related to nuclear technology from 2012 to 2017, where he also detailed as a clerk at the Patent and Trial Appeal Board in 2014. He additionally worked as an Attorney Advisor for the U.S. Customs and Border Protection from 2017-2019 and as Intellectual Property Counsel for the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency from 2019 and onwards.
